Missouri Man Identified As Victim Of Fatal Motorcycle Crash In Jackson County Last Week

INTERIOR. (KCCR) — A Boonville, Missouri man has been identified by the South Dakota Highway Patrol as the victim in a fatal motorcycle crash in Jackson County last week. The Patrol says 62 year-old Kent Kammerich was driving a 2006 Suzuki motorcycle on South Dakota Highway 44 near mile marker 122, one mile east of Interior on Thursday around 6:30 pm when the crash happened. Kammerich failed to navigate a curve in the highway and left the road surface. He became separated from the motorcycle in the crash and hit a fence. Kammerich was using a helmet at the time of the crash but was pronounced dead at the scene. The crash is the fourth fatal crash in Jackson County since July.
