The Pierre Governors will be home for the final time in 2023 as they host the ESD tournament as the tennis team begins its postseason competition.
The city of Pierre worked hard to get the courts at both Griffin Park and Labarge Park in the spot to host an ESD tournament. Now the Govs get the fortune of being at home to make it happen. The boys team will also get to host the ESD tournament in the spring. The Governors finished the dual season at 8-10 and with next week being the state tournament, the team title defense begins today.
