Saturday, the Pierre Governor Cheer and Dance team would travel to Rapid City and for the second time this year, the dance team would take home the top prize.
The dance team would place first in the pom division with a 258.5 while also placing second in the hip-hop division with a 248.5. Overall the Governors scored a 253.5 to take home the grand champion of the day.
The Governor cheer team would also place third with a 195 on the afternoon.
Pierre will travel to Sioux Falls as O’Gorman will host the invite on Tuesday.
