The Pierre Governor football team had its toughest battle last week Friday in Yankton and tonight the Govs return home and start a three game homestand beginning with Watertown on Homecoming.
The Governors came back from a 7-0 halftime deficit to remain unbeaten with a 27-14 win in Yankton and are now 4-0 on the season. Pierre faces a Watertown team who is 3-1 with its only loss to Yankton. However, the Govs defense prepared for a heavy pass game while tonight they prepare for a heavy run game.
