Homecoming Game for Pierre as Watertown Comes to Town

The Pierre Governor football team had its toughest battle last week Friday in Yankton and tonight the Govs return home and start a three game homestand beginning with Watertown on Homecoming.

The Governors came back from a 7-0 halftime deficit to remain unbeaten with a 27-14 win in Yankton and are now 4-0 on the season. Pierre faces a Watertown team who is 3-1 with its only loss to Yankton. However, the Govs defense prepared for a heavy pass game while tonight they prepare for a heavy run game. Juven Hudson is one of the best backs in the state and Steve Steele head coach of the Pierre Governors says the defense needs to be disciplined and fill the gaps this week…
