PIERRE, (KCCR) — The Pierre City Commission is meeting tonight at the Pierre Municipal Building. A light agenda with only three items will come before the Commission tonight. The Commission will consider approval of a five-item consent calendar. That calendar includes claims, minutes from last week’s meeting, a raffle request filed by Pheasants Forever and two personnel matters; a new hire and a promotion. In new business, the Commission will consider three requests to bid. The first is for the 2023 sewer lining project. Two of the bids are tied to electric system improvements. One is to bid electric distribution phase 1-A improvements. The second is a bid to furnish electric materials for the phase one project. Commissioners will round out the meeting by presenting any dialogue they may have. The Pierre City Commission meets tonight at 5:30 pm. The meeting is open to the public.
