Nick Bothun would finish one under par, 71, one shot behind Mac Drake as he would finish tied for second place at the Mitchell Invite on Friday.
Bothun would birdie five holes on the day including two par threes. Jack Bartlett would also finish inside the top ten tied for seventh at two over par, 74. Luke Olson would finish at 77 and Sawyer Sonnenschein at 78 to round out the scoring for the Govs. Lincoln Houska would have a 78 as well and Charlie Simpson at an 87.
The Governors as a team would finish 12 over, five shots back of Harrisburg for the team win and four shots back of second place. It’s another invite where Pierre is within reach of a team win.
The Governors have one final invite before the ESD. Pierre will be in Watertown on Tuesday with a tee time at 10:00 AM.
