The Pierre Governor volleyball team will have a big test tonight as they travel on the road to face the Washington Warriors in Sioux Falls.
The Governors are coming in on its second three game winning streak at 6-1 and facing a team having just played four games on the season. Washington’s win over Yankton on Friday moved them to 3-1 with its only loss to the Jefferson Cavaliers in a straight sweep last week Tuesday. The Govs, who struggled with Spearfish at now 3-11, will look to be better and sharper tonight needing to be if they want to knock off the perennial power of the Warriors. Pierre has moved back into the top five of the AA standings after its win though and a win tonight will go along way into staying into the top five of the standings.
