The Pierre Governor tennis team would get an 8-1 win over Brookings but an 8-1 loss to Watertown on Saturday in Brookings.
Jocelyn Corrales and Caitlin Ott would go undefeated in doubles flight two while each going 1-1 in their respective singles matches in flights one and two. Bailey Jessen in flight four would split her two singles matches as would Breanna Tedrow in flight five and Genevieve Oxford in flight six. Jessen and Elise Bowers in doubles flight one would also go 1-1 in doubles flight one and Oxford and Tedrow in flight three.
The tennis team will head to Aberdeen Central on Saturday for an invite starting at 9:00 AM. The Govs have just two more days left before the ESD in Pierre on September 25 and 26.
