For the second straight Friday, the Sully Buttes Chargers will be playing a Friday afternoon game, this time, the Homecoming game against the Faulkton Area Trojans.
Sully Buttes’ offense exploded for 62 points in the win over Sunshine Bible Academy and want to keep the trend continuing this afternoon. However, they have to face on the of the best teams in the state and currently the top team ranked in Class 9B. The Trojans are 3-0 on the season, the only undefeated team left in 9B already and have allowed just 14 points in three games. The offense will be tough to stop as they’ve put up 92 points over the last two weeks, including a 52-8 win over Potter County, a team the Chargers lost to the week prior. Gavin Barber had a phenomenal game last Friday against Sunshine Bible and has been a catalyst for the offense for Sully Buttes. Moore says they will have to be creative to get him touches today…
