From this weekend, the Pierre Governor cross country teams would run at the Augustana Twilight meet in Sioux Falls as Jared Lutmer would place fifth on the boys side and the girls team would place ninth overall.
Lutmer would place fifth just 44 seconds behind Juan Gonzales of Fremont for first place overall as Caleb Morris would place 44th for the Governors on the boys side.
The Pierre girls would place ninth as a team with a score of 321. Out of 334 racers, Pierre would place five girls inside the top 100 with Gwen Richter placing the highest for the Govs.
