The Stanley County Lady Buffaloes are off to a 4-1 start to the season with two wins on Saturday over both Little Wound and White River.
The Lady Buffs would start the day with a sweep of Little Wound 25-18, 25-9 and 25-18. All sets were dominated by Stanley County, but the second one in particular as Little Wound couldn’t get anything going overall.
In the last match of the day, the Lady Buffs did drop a set, but still would win in four over White River 27-25, 18-25, 25-19 and 25-20. The first set win for Stanley County set the tone for the match and the toss up set could have seen White River be up 2-0 instead of tied 1-1. With the fact Stanley County lost to Wall to start the triangular last weekend, the Lady Buffs are on a four game winning streak before facing Phillip on Thursday.
The Lady Scotties will be in town with first serve around 7:30 at the Parkview Auditorium.
