The Pierre Governor cheer and dance team would travel to Watertown on Thursday as the dance team would place seventh overall and the cheer team at 12th place.
For the dance team, they competed in the hip hop and pom divisions finishing in sixth in the hip hop with a score of 244 and then fifth in pom with a score of 243.5. Overall the Govs scored a 243.75 on the evening placing seventh. The Governor cheer team would score a total of 188.5 which is good for 12th place.
Now the Governors will have its home invite which will be on Saturday. Competition begins at 11:00 AM inside the Riggs High School gym.
