The Sully Buttes Chargers are 3-1 to begin the season and would finish in second place in the YTC Tournament on Saturday. Now the Chargers will have its first home game taking on Faulkton Area.
It’s the first regular season 6B matchup of the season for the Chargers who did play Potter County and Herreid/Selby Area on Saturday, but in the tournament it was a best-of-three contest instead of the regular best-of-five. The Chargers have a busy week with tough tests as the Miller Rustlers are also on the schedule for Thursday.
Faulkton Area is coming in at 1-0 with its only game, a win over Sunshine Bible Academy in three sets so this will be the Trojans first test of the season. The Trojans have five seniors on this year’s team while also rostering five juniors.
