Friday morning, the Pierre Governor golf team would place fourth in the Huron Invite as three Governors would place in the top ten.
The Governors would shoot a 306 which was only 10 shots behind Watertown who finished in first place. Sawyer Sonnenschein would shoot a 72 which was tied for fourth and the best Governor finish on the day. Both Luke Olson and Nick Bothun would tie for seventh with a 74 each and Lincoln Houska would finish at 82 to round out the scoring for the Governors. Jack Barlett would shoot an 83, Tate Stoeser a 94 and Charlie Simpson a 97.
The Governors will be in Aberdeen next on Tuesday. Tee time is at 10:00 AM at Lee Park Golf Course.
