Stanley County Opens Season with Home Triangular

Stanley County will be hosting Wall and Bennett County on Saturday as the volleyball season kick offs for all three teams at the Parkview Auditorium.

Last year the Lady Buffs finished above .500 at 14-13 and will look to build off the success although losing a lot of kills and assists. Now, Stanley County look to fill the gaps and continue the upward trend of the program and do so starting out with two familiar opening match teams. Both Bennett County and Wall were a part of the opening season triangular last year for the Lady Buffs with Stanley County splitting the day, winning against Bennett County and then falling to Wall.

Bennett County would finish last season at just 3-24 while the Wall Lady Eagles would go 16-15, falling to Jones County in the SoDak 16 Qualifying match. Both Bennett County and Wall each lost three seniors from last year’s team.

The triangular will begin with Stanley County and Wall playing at 2:00 on Saturday followed by Wall and Bennett County. Stanley County and Bennett County are scheduled to close out the night around 5:00, all from the Parkview Auditorium in Ft. Pierre.
