The Pierre Governor tennis team would drop both matches on Thursday falling 6-3 to Brandon Valley and 9-0 to Rapid City Stevens.
Ella Fisk and Bailey Jessen in singles flight three and four would each pick up a win in the singles matches against Brandon Valley as would Caitlin Ott and Alayna Youngbluth in doubles flight two for the three Governor victories. Stevens would pick up a straight sweep to finish the day for Pierre.
The Governors will be apart of an eight team tournament in Rapid City both Friday and Saturday.
