Friday morning, the Pierre Cross Country team will begin its 2023 season as they get to host the first meet at Steamboat Park.
The annual run kicks off the season for the Governor Cross Country team who have big aspirations for several individuals and the team itself. One in particular, Jared Lutmer returns for his senior year along with Haeden Wheelhouse. Several teams from across the state will be in town which includes Stanley County and Potter County from the area and Aberdeen Central and Rapid City Central out of the AA schools. Keyes says it’s nice to have the first meet at home…
