Two consecutive second place finishes for the Pierre Governor golf team and today, the Govs will be hosting its lone home invitational.
Pierre finished second after two days in the Sioux Falls area while also placing second last Thursday in Rapid City. Now, the Govs look for its first team win and do so on its home course, Hillsview. Pierre set a school mark last season on the home course in a big team win. 18 schools will be in town for the invite which includes ESD schools, Aberdeen Central, Brandon Valley, Brookings, Huron, Mitchell, Watertown and Yankton. It’s been a strong start for the Governors and its easily a chance to improve on the start.
Tee time is at 10:00 AM from Hillsview Golf Course in Pierre.
