FORT PIERRE, (KCCR) — The Fort Pierre City Council is meeting tonight at the South Dakota Municipal League meeting room. City officials will give updates to the Council before Council members get into agenda items. Council members have a relative short agenda tonight. Only three items of new business will greet the Council. The Council will consider authorizing the re-advertising of the city’s2023 street projects and a right-of-way closure request by the Fort Pierre Fire Department for September 23rd on Deadwood Street from 3rd Avenue to north of the Fire Hall. Also on the agenda is the Council’s consideration of a resolution for a South Dakota Housing Development Authority Grant. The Fort Pierre City Council meets tonight at 6:30 pm.
