A second straight second place finish for the Pierre Governor golf team, this time in Rapid City as the team would shoot a 319, eight shots back of Rapid City Stevens for the team win.
Two Governors would finish inside the top ten as Luke Olson would shoot a 77, good for eighth place and Sawyer Sonnenschein a 79 which was good for tenth. Jack Bartlett and Lincoln Houska would shoot a 81 and 82 respectively which was 13th and 14th while Charlie Simpson would finish with a 92. Nick Bothun was out and did not participate in Thursday’s invite.
Pierre will be at home for its next invite which is scheduled for Tuesday, August 22.
