Pierre City Commission To Meet Tonight

PIERRE, (KCCR) — The Pierre City Commission is meeting tonight at the Pierre Municipal Building. Commissioners will consider approval of a four-item consent calendar before moving on to a single item of unfinished business. The Commission will consider approval of a memorandum of understanding with Missouri Shores regarding the House of Hope, In new business, Commissioners will consider an agreement with D-G-R for electric equipment vehicle barricades and a street closure request for Governor’s Drive so the Riggs Competitive Marching Band can practice. A street closure request is also on the agenda for Cambridge Drive for a neighborhood homeowner’s association party. Other agenda items include an amendment to an airport lease with the state Department of Ag and Natural Resources; the introduction of a plat; a change order and final payment for the Black Hills Drive project and budget presentations from Capital City Campus, the Community Youth Involved Center, Convention and Visitor’s Bureau and Chamber Community Room. The Pierre City Commission meets tonight at 5:30 pm.
