Hughes County Commission To Meet Tonight

PIERRE, (KCCR) — The Hughes County Commission is meeting tonight at the Hughes County Courthouse. After approval of a three-item consent calendar, the Commission will hold two public hearings. The first public hearing is for a rezoning request in the Stampe Addition. A second public hearing will be held for a rezoning request in the Nystrom First Addition. Commissioners will consider a final payout and change order on a bridge project and will discuss an elevator fire alarm panel. The Commission will also consider contracts in the States Attorney’s office, Pierre I-T, a Department of Health mosquito grant and two corrections items. Commissioners will also consider a Hughes County Relocation Agreement and personnel items in corrections, states attorney and equalization office. Other agenda items include hunting preserve liquor license renewals, contingency supplements, discussion on the budget and reports from liaisons and the County Manager. The Hughes County Commission meets tonight at 5:30 pm.
