WEWELA (KCCR) — An Ainsworth, Nebraska man has died in a crash just over the Nebraska border in South Dakota. The South Dakota Highway Patrol says crash happened Thursday night around 5:40 pm, 20 miles south of Colome in Tripp County on U-S Highway 183 at mile marker one. A 2020 Honda G-L 1800 motorcycle was traveling northbound on Highway 183 when70 year-old Gary Jones failed to negotiate a curve, left the road and was thrown off of the vehicle. The Jones was wearing a helmet at the time of the accident but died as a result of injuries in the crash.
