Fall Banquets Set For Newest Members Of DOT Hall Of Honor

PIERRE (KCCR) — Banquet days have been set for two South Dakotans to be inducted into the South Dakota Department of Transportation Hall of Honor. The banquet for Greg Fuller of Fort Pierre is set for October 24th at 5:30 pm at Drifters Bar and Grill in Fort Pierre. Fuller was a D-O-T employee for 40 years, starting his career as a project engineer, then moving into leadership roles like senor engineer, engineering supervisor, program manager and finally Director of Operations. A banquet for Greg Klein is set for November 8th at 5:30 pm at the Joy Ranch in Florence. Klein graduated from the Lake Area Tech Aviation Maintenance Program in 1977 before entering the U-S Air Force as an aviation mechanic. Klein retired from the Air Force in 1997 and returned to Lake Area Tech to teach aviation mechanics. Tickets to the banquets are 40-dollars per person and can be purchased by calling the Department of Transportation at 605-773-5105.
