Nick Marso with the Oahe Hockey Association says they want to make the Ice Barn more than just a practice facility…

Nearly 300 skaters between the Hockey Association and Central South Dakota Skating Club figure skating group use the Ice Barn. Marso hopes the improvements can draw tournaments to Pierre. The BID Board Capital Request grant for improvements to the building is 200-thousand dollars.
