Zap Drop Rubber Match to Casper

The Oahe Zap couldn’t get the rubber match victory on Thursday dropping the series finale to the Casper Spuds 9-5.

Casper would reclaim the lead in the top of the eighth after Oahe had a 5-4 advantage as the Spuds would put up a four spot in the eighth. Trevor Seagraves and Trevor Hoffman would each drive in two runs for the Zap as Trenton Duscherer would have the other RBI. Seagraves would double and Jacob Mix would hit a triple as he went 3-5 in the loss.

The loss drops the Zap to 15-38 and will play its final three games of the inaugural season. First pitch on Friday and Saturday against the Badlands Big Sticks will be at 6:35 with Sunday’s season finale at 5:35, all at Hyde Stadium.
