Starting Thursday, Pierre Post 8 13U will be in Brookings for the state tournament with pool play games running through Saturday and the semifinals and championship on Sunday.

Pierre 13U went 16-17 in the regular season and will face Watertown, Renner and Huron in its pool play games playing a game per day. The draw is tough as Pierre is 0-2 against both Watertown and Renner, but have not played Huron. It will be challenge, but Sollars reminded the team after the Watertown games on Sunday, it’s about playing the best baseball at the end of the season…
