Pierre Swim Team Wraps up Season with Long Course State A Meet

Pierre Swim team had 19 swimmers compete at the 2023 SD Long Course State A Championship Meet in Aberdeen, July 21^st-23rd.

In the Girls 8 & under Division, 1 swimmer:

• Sophia Lukkes: 100 breaststroke-7^th, 200 free-9^th & 100 free-13th

In the Girls 9-10 Division, 2 swimmers:

• Lydia Kroon: 100 free-13^th, 200 free-13^th, 50 free-16^th , 50 back-17^th & 100 back-17th
• Betty Lukkes: 100 fly-10^th, 50 fly-12^th & 200 IM-16^th

In the Girls 11-12 Division, 1 swimmer:

• Grace Hutton: 50 back-13^th, 50 free-14^th (SDQ) & 100 free-16^th

In the Girls 15-16 Division, 1 swimmer:

• Charlie Hull: 200 back-5^th (SDQ), 400 free-6^th (SDQ), 800 free-6^th (SDQ), 100 free-7^th (SDQ), 100 back-7^th (SDQ), 50 free-8^th (SDQ) & 200 free-8^th (SDQ)

In the Girls 17-19 Division, 2 swimmers:

• Kendra Rounds: 200 back-4^th, 100 back-6^th, 400 free-11^th, 200 free-12^th, 100 free-15^th, 200 IM-15^th & 50 free-17^th
• Michelle Weiss: 200 free-1^st (SDQ), 800 free-1^st (SDQ), 1500 free-1^st (SDQ), 200 fly-2^nd (SDQ), 400 free-2^nd (SDQ), 100 free-3^rd (SDQ) & 50 free-6^th (SDQ)—1^st place High Point winner!

In the Boys 8 & under Division, 3 swimmers:

• Bentley Frost: 200 free-4^th (SDQ), 50 fly-6^th (SDQ), 100 free-8^th (*SDQ), 100 back-8^th (SDQ), 50 breaststroke-10^th (SDQ), 50 free-10^th (SDQ) & 50 back-11^th (SDQ)
• Lawson Kroon: 100 breaststroke-8^th, 200 free-9^th, 100 back-11^th & 50 back-14th
• Lucas Kroon: 50 breaststroke-12^th & 50 free-20th

In the Boys 9-10 Division, 1 swimmer:

• Garrett Linn: 200 IM-17^th, 50 free-21^st & 50 back-24th

In the Boys 11-12 Division, 3 swimmers:
