The Oahe Zap would be shutout and rolled by the Fremont Moo in the first game of the three game set 13-0 as Oahe has now dropped three straight games and are 9-10 in the second half of the season.
Fremont would open up with a 4-0 lead in the bottom of the first and then score three runs in the fourth, a run in the fifth, another three runs in the seventh and two in the eighth. The Moo had just eight hits but would take advantage of 10 walks and a hit batter for 11 free passes in total. Henry Hayman would hit a solo homer and Hayden Lewis would hit a three run shot as Hayman, Lewis and Andrew Kirchner all would have three RBIs in the win. Kyle Memarian would get the only Zap hit in the game and would come in the top of the first as Tyson Romero would throw a complete game shutout for the Moo.
The Zap will look to snap its three game losing streak on Wednesday as they take on the Moo in the second game of the series. First pitch is at 7:05 from Fremont.
