PIERRE — It’s another light agenda for the Pierre City Commission tonight. There are two items of special business to start the meeting. Information on Dairy Queen’s Miracle Treat Day will be presented to the Commission followed by an update on electric service controlled outages. Four items make up the consent calendar. They include meeting minutes from the July 11th meeting, claims and the setting of two public hearings, one on July 25th and the second for August 1st. The July 25th public hearing is for a temporary liquor license request while the August 1st hearing is for an airport terminal lease for Budget/Rover and Capital Auto Rentals/Avis. The only item of new business before the Commission is a street closure request for the 400 block of Pierre Street for Crazy Days on July 29th. The Pierre City Commission meets tonight at 5:30 pm at the Pierre Municipal Building.
