PIERRE — The Pierre School Board is meeting tonight at the District Administration Building. Tonight’s meeting is the annual re-organizational meeting. Dan Cronin will be sworn-in to begin a new term on the Board as well a new chair and vice chair selected. Board members will also be selected for various committee assignments. An extensive consent calendar will also be considered by the Board. The calendar contains some 20 items all tied to district operations and policy. Board members will hear comments from Superintendent Dr. Kelly Glodt along with any Board and public comments. Final action will be considered for handbook revisions for Riggs High; Georgia Morse and athletics. The Board will also take action regarding the election of the Board of Directors to the state activities association along with donations and contract items. The Pierre School Board meets tonight at 5:30 pm.
