Pierre Post 8 senior legion will not be making the trip to Mitchell on Wednesday with the Post 18 team still suspended from activities.
Brian White, manager of Post 8 confirmed the games would be canceled on Wednesday and will not be rescheduled. Pierre will now turn its attention to Bismarck on Thursday to play its final home games in a doubleheader. The Eights will then travel to Brandon on Saturday for its regular season finale against Brandon Valley.
Mitchell has not played since Tuesday, June 20, a day after splitting a doubleheader with Pierre at Hyde Stadium. Post 18 has suspended all activities on the senior legion level because of “player personnel issues.” This will be the 13th and 14th straight game canceled for Mitchell.
