PIERRE — The Hughes County Commission is meeting tonight at the Hughes County Courthouse. The Commission has a light agenda before them tonight. Commissioners will consider approval of a three item consent calendar, consisting of the claims, agenda and minutes from the June 21st meeting. A public hearing is scheduled for 5:30 for a plat of lots in Oahe Acres. First reading will given to two plats, one in the Nystrom Addition and the second in the Stampe Addition. The Commission will consider approval of a resolution for an airport annex by the City of Pierre. Commissioners will consider budget supplements and personnel items, specifically the retirement of Bob Warne and considering a replacement. Commissioners will also give liaison reports and hear from County Manager Lori Jacobson. An executive session is also on the agenda. The Hughes County Commission meets tonight at 5:30 pm.
