KKVC Finishes National AAU Tournament Thursday

The Kusler Klinic Volleyball Club teams would finish its National Tournament on Thursday, both falling in their respective brackets in the first round.

The KKVC Orange team would compete in the championship gold bracket as they were just one of nine teams in the 17 Aspire division to reach the championship bracket round. However, the Orange team would drop the first round matchup to Chicago Elite losing 25-15 and 25-20. The loss eliminated and ended its tournament. Overall, KKVC Orange finished the tournament at 9-2. The orange team was represented by Aleise Christopherson, Campbell Cronin, Makayla Sherwood and Lainey Reinke from Pierre.

The KKVC Blue team would also drop its first round contest in the Ruby Division falling to Top Flight Elite 25-14, 25-21 as their tournament came to an end. KKVC Blue finished the tournament at 7-3 making it to day three of the tournament still in championship contention. The Blue team had gone undefeated through the first two days in the 17 Classic Division at the National Tournament. The Blue team had Campbell Boddicker and Abigail Kropp from Pierre and Cadence Hand from Stanley County.
