Fort Pierre Man To Be Inducted Into State Transportation Hall Of Fame

FORT PIERE — A Fort Pierre man has been named to the South Dakota Transportation Hall of Fame. Greg Fuller spent 40 years with the D-O-T starting as a project engineer then advancing into leadership roles such as senior engineer, engineering supervisor, program manager and retiring as Director of Operations. Fuller served as a leader and mentor in areas like bridge construction, construction administration and maintenance operations for hundreds of staff over four decades. Joining Fuller as a 2023 Inductee is another Greg, Greg Klein of Watertown. Klein is a 1977 graduate of Lake Area Technical College’s Aviation Maintenance program. He enrolled in the Air Force and worked on F-4 Phantom and F-15 Eagle fighter jets. Klein retired from the Air Force in 1997 and returned to Lake Area Tech to teach aviation maintenance. Fuller and Klein will be recognized at a banquet later this summer. Some 97 people have been inducted into South Dakota’s Transportation Hall of Fame.
