KKVC National Teams Finish Day One Undefeated

Two Kusler Klinic Volleyball Club teams are playing in the 2023 National AAU Tournament this week. Both teams are playing in the 17U divisions in Aspire and Classic.

Pierre is being represented on both teams as the 17U Orange team will have Aleise Christopherson, Campbell Cronin, Lainey Reinke and Makayla Sherwood. Reese Terwilliger is also a part of the Orange team, but is out with a leg injury sustained earlier this month. On the 17U Blue team, both Campbell Boddicker and Abigail Kropp are both representing Pierre while Cadence Hand is also representing from Stanley County. The two teams will play multiple games per day which began on Monday down in Orlando, Florida.

On day one, the 17U orange team would finish at 3-0 winning its pool taking the first match 25-19 and 25-18 over Florida, winning the second match 25-13 and 25-16 and then finishing the day with a 28-26, 25-11 victory to sweep the day.

For the 17U blue team, they would also finish going 3-0 on the day and sweeping all three matches. They would pick up a win in match one at 25-19, 25-20 then win match two 25-11 and 25-15 before winning the final match 25-17, 28-26 to advance to the next round in the gold bracket in the 17U Classic Division.

Today, the Orange team will play at 7:30 AM Eastern time with games also at 9:30 and 12:30, all Eastern. The blue team will begin play at 3:30 PM Eastern Time along with games at 5:30 and 7:30.
