FORT PIERRE — The Fort Pierre City Council is moving their typical Monday night meeting to tonight because of the Juneteenth holiday. City officials will give reports to the Council before getting into agenda items. Public hearings will be held for seven temporary liquor license requests filed by the Casey Tibbs Rodeo Center for events scheduled out through December. The Council will get an update on the John Waldron bridge project and will discuss summer, part-time staff and a hay ground bid notice. The agenda includes a request for a temporary alcoholic beverage licenses filed by Stanley Post 20, and a temporary liquor license for the Silver Spur at the Pat Duffy Community and Youth Involved Center for July 4th. The Council will also consider approving renewals of the medical cannabis license for Grassroots Home, Health and Wealth and engineering for South Dakota Housing Development Authority infrastructure.
