The Oahe Zap had won the first game of the series on Thursday against the Hastings Sodbusters for the first time this season, but would still drop the series falling 13-2 on Saturday.
Oahe has still yet to win a series this year with only three wins on the season. Oahe went down 11-0 after a seven run third inning. Oahe would get on the board with a Tyler Hoffman single in the fourth and scoring twice in the eight on two productive outs as Tyler Traphagen would hit a sacrifice fly and Jared Heck driving in a run on an RBI groundout. However, it was not enough for the Zap who fall to 3-17 on the season. Hastings improves to 4-15 with all four wins coming against the Zap. Oahe sits 11.5 games out of first place of the Independence League.
The Zap will return to playing on Tuesday when they travel to Spearfish for a three game set with the Sasquatch. First pitch s at 7:05 Mountain Time on Tuesday.
