Pierre Swim Team with Seven Competing Last Weekend

Pierre Swim team had 5 swimmers compete at the 2023 BSC Summer invitational meet in Brookings June 9-11th. Pierre had 2 swimmers compete in Yankton June 10-11th.

2023 BSC Summer Invitational

In the Girls 13-14 Division, we had 2 swimmers:

• Emmyline Fabel: 100 breaststroke-8^th, 100 fly-8^th, 200 free-10^th, 200 IM-11^th & 100 free-16^th
• Ann Tjeerdsma: 200 free-8^th, 200 back-8^th, 200 IM-9^th, 50 free-10^th, 100 back-10^th, 400 free-11^th & 100 free-12th

In the Boys 11-12 Division, we had 1 swimmer:

• Finley Ellwein: 50 free-1^st (SDQ), 200 free-1^st (SDQ), 50 back-1^st (SDQ), 100 back-1^st (SDQ), 100 breaststroke-2^nd (SDQ), 50 fly-2^nd (SDQ), 100 fly-2^nd (SDQ) & 100 free-3^rd (SDQ)-
  • 2^nd place High Point for his age division!
• Maxwell Brosz: 200 back-8^th, 100 breaststroke-8^th, 50 free-9^th, 200 free-9^th, 100 back-9^th & 100 free-11^th

In the Boys 15-19 Divison, we had 1 swimmer:

• David Stagg: 100 free-7^th (SDQ), 100 breaststroke-7^th, 50 free-8^th (SDQ), 200 free-8^th (SDQ), 100 fly-9^th, 200 IM-11^th & 100 back-13th

2023 SD YST Walmart Charity Invitational

In the Girls 7-8 division, we had 1 swimmer:

• Sophia Lukkes: 100 back-2^nd, 100 breaststroke-2^nd, 50 free-3^rd, 100 free-4^th, 50 back-4^th & 50 breaststroke-4th

In the Girls 9-10 Division, we had 1 swimmer:

• Betty Lukkes: 100 back-3^rd, 200 free-4^th, 50 breaststroke-4^th, 100 free-5^th, 50 fly-5^th, 50 free-6^th & 50 back-6th

Next up Pierre will have 8 swimmers in Aberdeen June 16-18thth. The team will be split across the state the weekend of June 23-25th. We will have 6 swimmers competing in Huron and 13 competing in Rapid City.
