Zap Shelled in Ninth Straight Loss

It would be a game to forget for the Oahe Zap who were blown out in its ninth straight loss with the Fremont Moo cruising to a 21-2 win on Wednesday in Fremont.

The Moo would take a 3-0 lead after the first inning and then add six runs in the bottom of the second and would lead 18-0 before the Zap would get on the scoreboard in the top of the sixth inning. Cy Probst and Trevor Seagraves each had an RBI hit for the Zap. Four different pitchers threw on Wednesday with three of the four giving up at least four runs. The Zap had three errors and allowed five unearned runs to score. The losing streak reaches nine and fall to 1-12 while Fremont improves to 11-3 and overtakes first place in the Independence League.

The Zap will look to end its nine game skid in the series finale with the Moo tonight. First pitch from Fremont is at 7:05.
