PIERRE — The Pierre City Commission is set to meet tonight at the Pierre Municipal Building. Commissioners will consider approval of a seven-item consent calendar. The calendar includes approval of minutes from the last meeting, claims, two raffle requests and three new hires. A public hearing is set for 5:45 pm for a conditional use permit request filed by CAM Rentals. New business includes a request for a street closure for the Militiamen Poker Run on July 15th and considering replacement of a water main in Griffin Park. Commissioners will consider a construction oversight agreement with Brosz Engineering for a wash bay project. Also on the agenda is a resolution to dissolve Tax Increment Financing District number 4 and adoption of a new policy regarding purchasing for the city. Commissioners will close out the meeting by presenting any dialogue they may have. The Pierre City Commission meets tonight at 5:30 pm.
