PIERRE — The Hughes County Commission is set for it’s first meeting in June tonight. The Commission will consider approval of the agenda and meeting minutes from the May 26th meeting before moving straight into new business. Commissioners will give first reading to a rezoning and plat request for lots in the Oahe Acres Addition and will consider approval of a 2023 Bridge Improvement Grant. The Commission will review a pre-construction haul-road report for the North Bend wind project. Commissioners will consider a culvert replacement, highway equipment purchase and an agreement for mosquito control service. The Commission will also consider personnel items, approve claims and hear reports from liaisons and the County Manager. An executive session for personnel is also on the agenda.
