Class B State Golf Starts in Watertown

Plenty of area schools will representing in the Class B golf tournament in Watertown as both teams and individuals have qualified for tournaments.

Sully Buttes

The Sully Buttes Chargers qualified its entire boys team winning the Region golf meet as Gavin Colson, Thomas Farries, Marshall Wittler and Wesley Wittler will all golf for the Chargers. On the girls side, both Birkley Birney and Olivia Olson individually qualified to compete at the state meet.

Jones County

The Jones County Coyotes will have the girls team participating after its Region Meet win. Tayah Anderson, Savannah Hendircks, Kamri Kittleson and Emmy Newsam have their eyes on a team state title.

Miller

The Miller Rustlers will also have its girls team participating. Kaihlyn Anderberg, Mackenzi Kopecky, Jayce Pugh and Cassi VanDerWerff will all be competing starting on Monday. Miller will also have Derek Brueggeman and James Fritzsche competing in the boys state tournament.

Highmore-Harrold

The Highmore-Harrold Pirates will have Kendall Cermak competing on the girls side and Gunner Brueggeman will be at the Prairie Winds Golf Course for the boys tournament.

Lyman

Cooper Long will be the lone Lyman Raider in the field on either the boys or girls side of the Class B state tournament.

Potter County

Neva and Olivia Mikkelsen will be representing Potter County in the Class B girls tournament while Alex Tanner will be the lone representative for the Battlers on the boys side.

Tee time is at 8:00 in Watertown at Prairie Winds Golf Course for the boys and Cattail Crossing Golf Course for the girls.
