The Oahe Zap would fall 9-1 in seven innings as the rains forced the game to be called early as the Badlands Big Sticks would win the series over the Zap.
After a Friday night night for the Zap, their first in team history, the Big Sticks came back to win Saturday and Sunday’s game as they improve to 5-1 while the Zap fall to 1-5. Badlands would score two runs in the first, three in the second and another run in the third to lead 6-0 and hold onto the lead heading into the bottom of the fifth. Kyle Memarian would score the lone run of the game for Oahe as he scored on a wild pitch with two outs in the inning. The Big Sticks would score the run back in the top of the sixth and then add another two runs in the top of the seventh. The game would be called with one out in the bottom of the seventh and with the series ending, the game would go final dropping the Zap for a second straight series.
Oahe will be off on Monday before traveling for the first time which will be to Dickinson, North Dakota to face the Big Sticks in a three game set. First pitch is at 7:20 on Tuesday.
