Maciejczak, Ringstmeyer Close Out State Track and Field Meet with State Titles

The Pierre Governor Track and Field team would leave with three individual titles as the State Meet would close on Saturday ending the Track and Field season.

Pierre

Jason Maciejczak and Dani Ringstmeyer would each win a state championship as Maciejczak would win the AA shot put throw on Friday while Ringstmeyer would win the 200 meter dash on Saturday as Pierre finishes with three overall championships. On Friday, Jared Lutmer would place fourth in the 3200 meter run while Maya Shorter would be second in the discus throw along Reese Terwilliger eighth and Hannah Lemieux ninth. Colby Carey would be fifth in the pole vault. On Saturday the Governors would finish the season with Ringstmeyer, Grace Richter, Charlee Williams-Smith and Kali Ringstmeyer placing fourth in the 4×200 relay race, Lutmer finishing in sixth in the 1600 meter run, Deegan Houska seventh in the 300 meter hurdles, Maciejczak third in the discus and Shorter fifth in the Javelin.

Sully Buttes

On Friday, Lydia Hill placed 11th in the Class B discus throw for the Sully Buttes Chargers and then on Saturday Stevie Wittler was fifth in the 100 meter hurdles and sixth in the 300 meter hurdles.

Stanley County

Paxton Deal finished 13th in the long jump in Class A for Stanley County on Saturday.

Miller

For the Miller Rustlers on Friday Pierce Baumberger placed ninth in the 3200 meter run while Alex Schumacher was sixth in the 800 meter run and Ally Mullaney fourth in the high jump. On Saturday Tyra Gates, Mullaney, Jaden Werdel and Morgan Kolda finished in fifth in the 4×100 relay race.

Lyman

For the Lyman Raiders Rory McManus was third in the 110 meter hurdles on Saturday.

Jones County

Jett Nix would place ninth for the Jones County Coyotes in the high jump on Saturday while Emma Hunt, Jayden Jensen, Jolie Dugan and BreAna Aske would be fourth in the 4×400 relay race. Dugan would also be seventh in the 1600 meter run.

Highmore-Harrold

On Friday for the Highmore-Harrold Pirates Autumn Fallis would place fourth in the 3200 meter run and in the 1600 meter run scoring all 10 points for the Pirates.

Potter County

For the Potter County Battlers, Nickolas Schlachter would be fourth in the 3200 run on Friday as Emma Schlachter would be fifth in the 800 meter run and Carter Luikens third in the 800. Then on Saturday Nicholas Schlachter would be in sixth in the 1600 meter run while Luikens would be fifth in the 400 meter run, Dannika Kaup seventh in the 300 meter hurdles and the team of Kaup, Rayel Persoon, Jayden Alhemeier and Emma Schlachter would be third in the 4×400 relay race.
