PIERRE — A Pierre man is arrested last weekend for an incident involving a knife. Pierre Police Captain Bryan Walz says officers were called on Saturday May 20th around 1:30 am to the 100 block of East Sioux Avenue for an unknown problem. Upon arrival, officers contacted the victim who stated to police they were chased by a person with a knife and had suffered a cut from the knife. Police were able to identify the suspect as 20 year-old Victor Black Lance. Officers took Black Lance into custody a short time later on charges including Aggravated Assault and Ingesting a Substance to Become Intoxicated.
