PIERRE — The Pierre City Commission is meeting tonight at the Pierre Municipal Building. The meeting will start as a joint meeting with the Hughes County Commission to give final consideration to a replat request in the Camelot Addition. Commissioners will consider approval of a five-item consent calendar before moving on to the main agenda. Two items relating to the development of the former Pierre City Hall site are on the agenda. Commissioners will consider approval of a developer’s agreement and a sales tax rebate agreement. In new business, the Commission will discuss the annual Run with the Gov’s event, a conditional use permit and a request to purchase a spoil vac for the Electric Department. Two change orders for street projects are on the agenda. One is for 2023 projects and the other for last year’s project. Commissioners will get an update on the Go Green and Clean program and consider an amendment to an agreement with Mersino Dewatering. Commissioners will present any dialogue they may have to wrap up the meeting. The Pierre City Commission meets tonight at 5:30 pm.
