The Pierre Governor Track and Field will travel to Huron for the final meet of the 2023 regular season as the state meet is now in just one week.
The Governors have had the fortune of being at home quite often this season, but the last two meets have put them on the road at Brandon Valley and now today at Huron. The Governors will be one of six teams at the Mark Wendelgass Relays as the other teams are all ESD teams which includes Aberdeen Central, Brookings, Mitchell and Watertown. After today’s event, the Govs will return back to Sioux Falls next week Thursday for the Class AA state meet.
The field events begin at 2:00 with the track events to start at 3:30 at Tiger Stadium in Huron.
