The Pierre Governors didn’t get the chance to compete in the ESD Indoor Meet at the beginning of the season due to the road conditions and snowy weather. Now, barring rain, the Govs will have the opportunity to compete in the ESD outdoor track and field meet on Saturday.
Pierre is down to the final two meets of the season before the state meet at the end of May. After Saturday’s ESD event, the Governors will travel to Huron on Thursday to wrap up the regular season and have a week and a half off before heading to State in Sioux Falls.
The field events begin at 9:00 AM with the track events at 12:00 on Saturday at Brandon Valley.
