Post 20 Baseball Set for 100-Inning Game on Saturday

For the first time, the Stanley County Post 20 Baseball team will be playing a 100-inning game for a fundraiser for team expenses and improvements to the baseball field.

The 100-inning game is played between the legion team itself as players from senior legion, junior legion and 13 and 14s will be participating. A pitching machine will be used to save pitchers arms and to help speed up the game. Fans can pledge money with a player and donate depending on how many innings the athlete will play. Chris Tedder, one of the coaches with Post 20 grew up playing in 100-inning games over the years and he says he absolutely loved it…

Tedder says it will be a long day, but fun day at the field.

The 100-inning game will begin at 8:00 AM on Saturday at the Post 20 Field off of Highway 1806.
